I love the nightlife, I love to boogie...
There is one very important bit of wisdom to impart to anyone looking to party 'til the break of dawn in North Idaho. Don't drink and drive. Party near where you live. That way, you can get a ride home, call a taxi, anything but drive. We live in a big state, and the police, sheriffs, and Idaho State Police are very vigilant. So, besides putting others lives at risk, you stand to lose your license, if not your life. If you really want to dance the night away in Spokane, or Coeur d'Alene, and that is a far drive for you, then get a hotel room. Stay with friends.
That said, we have some very cool places to get your groove on. Certainly there is much more to do nights and evenings than just going out to a bar or nightclub. You can go to the movies, take a walk in a park, etc. There are events, such as the dance for Lost in the 50s and you can party until midnight during Mardi Gras in Sandpoint. There are similar events in Coeur d'Alene and other communities. You can see spectacular fireworks for the 4th of July on the lake in Coeur d'Alene and at City Beach in Sandpoint. But if you want to have a cocktail or cut a rug, there are many choices.
